HUDY 165005 Phillips Screwdriver - Workshop grade precision for models

Hobbyists who demand precise screw control will find the HUDY 165005 Limited Edition Phillips Screwdriver 5.0mm well suited to model assembly and service tasks. Its anniversary build gives practical upgrades without gimmicks.

Durable CNC Machined Handle

The handle is crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium via CNC machining to deliver a light but robust feel. The diamond texture improves torque transfer by preventing slippage, and the press-fit black plastic cap can be changed for colour coding.

Precision-Ground HUDY Bit

The tip is made from HUDY Spring Steel and is hand finished to ensure accurate contact with Phillips heads. That precision helps avoid cam-out and reduces fastener damage during fine work on chassis and electronics mounts.

Colour Coding for Fast Identification

While the black cap keeps a tidy bench appearance, optional violet, red and blue caps let you mark tools for specific tasks or sizes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The tips are replaceable; remove the press-fit cap and swap the pin for an equivalent HUDY bit to renew the driver.
The 5.0mm tip is aimed at model fasteners rather than tiny electronics screws, so it is best used for chassis and servo mounting tasks.
Wipe the tip clean after use, avoid excessive torque, and replace the bit if you notice rounding to maintain secure engagement.
