Built for Accurate Nut Work

The HUDY 170007 Limited Edition Aluminum Socket Driver is built to deliver accurate, repeatable results when working on RC touring cars. The 7.0mm socket fits M4 nuts and the CNC-machined Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum body gives a lightweight yet robust feel for regular workshop use.

Comfortable Diamond Grip

The driver handle features a diamond pattern texture that improves grip and control during quick tyre changes or detailed setup. A black plastic cap is press-fitted into the end of the handle to add stability and make handling more comfortable over long sessions.

Personalise with Colour Caps

For easier tool identification, optional colour-coded plastic caps come in violet, red, and blue. These caps help you flag specific drivers for different cars or tasks.

Will this socket driver fit other nut sizes?

This driver is made with a 7.0mm tip for M4 nuts. It is specifically intended for those sizes and may not seat correctly on different nut dimensions.

Are the coloured caps durable?

Yes. The plastic caps are designed for identification and everyday handling. They are durable but can be replaced if worn or damaged.

Is the aluminum finish prone to scratching?

The CNC-machined Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum is robust but like any finished metal it can show marks from heavy use. Clean and store it properly to retain the finish.
