Carbon Plate for Dual-Side Fans

This carbon extension plate allows two side-mounted cooling fans to be attached to an aluminium dual motor fan mount, creating a compact dual-sided cooling setup ideal for on-road RC cars. The component is intended to be used with HUDY #293190 aluminium dual motor fan mount and accommodates two 40 mm fans to channel airflow onto the motor during prolonged runs.

Produced from high-grade carbon material made in USA, the plate combines low weight with high stiffness to help maintain alignment and fit with the aluminium mount. Its shallow profile is designed to preserve a low centre of gravity and tidy packaging on compact on-road chassis where effective motor cooling is required without bulky ducts.

Installation notes: the extension is a purpose-made accessory that mounts to the #293190 aluminium unit and is specifically sized for 40 mm fans. Confirm connector orientation and allow wiring clearance before final fitment, and use the recommended fasteners to prevent vibration-related issues.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The extension is cut from high-grade carbon made in USA to provide a stiff, lightweight mount that withstands typical on-road stresses, though correct fastening is important to avoid fatigue.
It is designed around two 40 mm fans; alternative sizes are not specified and may not line up with the mounting pattern.
The low-profile design aims to minimise added mass and keep the centre of gravity low, but assess overall weight distribution on your chassis before finalising setup.
