Shed Rotational Weight with the HUDY 294152 52T Pinion

The HUDY 294152 Aluminium Ultra-Light Pinion Gear is built to cut unnecessary rotating mass while keeping robust performance. Made from 7075 T6 aluminium and finished with a hard coat, it combines lightness with improved wear resistance to suit competitive setups.

How the 52T Setup Helps on Track

A 52-tooth pinion is often chosen to balance acceleration and top speed for many track layouts. The reduced inertia from an ultra-light pinion helps the motor spool up faster, which can make launches and acceleration out of corners more responsive.

Manufacturing Quality and Coating Benefits

High-precision CNC machining ensures consistent tooth form and concentricity on the HUDY pinion. The 7075 T6 alloy provides the structural backbone while the hard-coating adds a protective layer against tooth wear and scoring during aggressive runs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some HUDY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 8-12 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Swapping to a different pinion tooth count can be done independently, but be mindful of motor rpm limits and ESC settings when changing gearing to avoid overheating.
The hard coat adds surface toughness but severe impacts can still damage teeth; always inspect after heavy contact and replace if you spot cracks or deep nicks.
A good quality pinion holder and the correct size hex driver for your motor grub screw will make fitting straightforward and help avoid marring the shaft or gear face.
