Can these tyres be used on wet or drying clay tracks?

They perform best on dry to slightly tacky dirt; on very wet clay expect reduced bite. If the surface is damp, clean tread regularly to retain grip.

Are these a good match for foam inserts or flat-packed inserts?

A medium-density foam insert gives a balanced feel for the front end. Flat-packed inserts may work but test to find the right stiffness for your setup.
