This Fujimi 1/700 full-hull kit recreates the Imperial Japanese Navy carrier Jyunyo in her 1944 configuration, produced as a full-hull subject for collectors and display builders.

Originally converted from a passenger vessel, Jyunyo entered service before the Pacific conflict and later carried out fleet and transport duties. Through multiple refits her flight deck arrangement and defensive armament were altered; these changes are reflected in the kit's 1944 marking options and detailing.

Because the kit is full-hull, it allows complete hull presentation rather than a waterline-only approach. The box includes photo-etched parts to refine deck fittings, island features, and railings.
