Do.24 Flying Boat in Miniature

The Italeri 1323S - 1/72 Dornier Do.24 kit captures the rugged flying boat that performed reconnaissance, maritime patrol and rescue duties in World War II. The moulded surfaces and structural components are designed to reflect the original aircrafts lines for a historically faithful finish.

The actual Do.24 used three 940 HP Bramo radial engines, reached speeds near 340 km/h and had a range of roughly 2,700 km. This scale kit reproduces the parasol-wing arrangement and twin-tail form, giving modellers a compact subject suitable for museum-style displays or diorama scenes.
