The Italeri 1366S captures the SPAD S.XIII in 1/72 scale, representing the later development from the SPAD VII by Societe Pour l'Aviation et ses Derives. Its improved aerodynamics and the Hispano-Suiza engine gave pilots enhanced speed and reliability, attributes that made the type popular with aces such as Rene Fonck and Francesco Baracca.
Kit parts reproduce the aircraft's characteristic wing and tail forms and come with a super decals sheet covering five period-accurate liveries. The scale and level of detail make it a great choice for display stands, shelf exhibits or grouped WWI collections.
