The Italeri 1382S kit recreates the two-seat F-5F Tiger II, derived from Northrop's proven F-5E. Known for dependable, cost-efficient performance, the F-5F serves as a trainer while preserving much of the single-seat aircraft's flight character. The kit supplies detailed parts to reproduce the aircraft's clean lines and cockpit arrangement.

The F-5F enjoyed use by air forces that prized low operating costs and combat efficiency, notably the Swiss, who built examples under licence. This Italeri release includes a decal sheet with six different versions so modellers can pick historically accurate markings.
