The Harrier GR.3 is notable for its vectored-thrust VTOL/ STOL abilities, developed by Hawker Siddeley in the 1960s. The GR.3 airframe featured upgrades such as a laser tracker in the nose and enhanced electronic countermeasures, seeing frontline use during the 1982 Falklands conflict.
This Italeri 1/72 rendition captures the Harrier's characteristic silhouette and weapon stations. Historically the GR.3 carried two 30 mm cannons and could be fitted with rockets or precision-guided munitions. The kit gives builders the parts to represent those loadouts faithfully.
Finished examples suit both shelf display and small-scale dioramas. The kit includes a rich decal sheet with six marking variants, making it simple to build distinct historic examples or personalised versions.
