The Italeri 1/48 P-40 E/K Kittyhawk kit reproduces the well known Curtiss-derived fighter at a convenient 1/48 scale. Its service spanned theatres from the deserts of North Africa to island fighting in the Pacific. The kit captures the P-40s robust layout and the Allison V-12 powerplant delivering over 1,150 horsepower, with top speeds near 580 km/h.

Weapons layout and decal options

This release accurately represents the P-40E equipment used by U.S. and Commonwealth units, including the six M2 Browning guns and the underwing hardpoints for bombs. The set includes super decals for two versions to replicate authentic markings.
