The Italeri 35102 kit brings two famed WWII fighters into accurate 1/72 scale for display and diorama work. Both the P-47N and P-51D are represented with parts suitable for realistic finishes and historian-minded builds.

P-47N Thunderbolt - Sturdy Escort Design

The P-47N served as a reliable long-range bomber escort, designed for sustained high-altitude missions. Its reinforced structure and cockpit protection gave pilots added safety, and its eight .50 caliber M2 Browning guns provided serious offensive capability.

P-51D Mustang - Refined Pilot Visibility

The P-51D Mustang is notable for its teardrop canopy which improved pilot sightlines and handling. That refinement helped the Mustang maintain effectiveness across several theatres and into post-war service.
