The Jaguar XJ220 earned its place in supercar lore by reaching a top speed of 350 km/h and holding that production record from 1992 until 1994. The car began as a passion project by Jaguar designers called "The Saturday Club" and was unveiled at the 1988 British Motor Show before production started in 1991.
Italeri's 1/24 scale kit captures the XJ220's low, aerodynamic silhouette and period styling. The parts are moulded in PS plastic and the kit is intended for builders who enjoy precision painting and assembly. It makes a faithful small-scale tribute to the original engineering and design.
