The B.M.W. M1 Procar is an important chapter in late 1970s racing, built to tackle support series events at major Grand Prix weekends. Italeri's 1/24 rendition reflects the Group 4 rules used by the Procar field in 1979 and 1980. The model reproduces the mid-engined configuration that gives the M1 its recognisable stance.
This kit includes race-specific elements such as a rear spoiler and widened over fenders that mirror the Group 4 setup. Finished length is roughly 181mm, offering a solid base for display and detailing work. The inline 6-cylinder powerplant is well modelled and the rear bonnet can be posed open to reveal the engine bay.
The interior reflects the race intent with a simplified dashboard and roll bar. A sheet of decals is supplied to help replicate period liveries and race markings accurately.
