Fiat Mefistofele 21706 C.C in 1/12 by Italeri 4701

The Italeri 1/12 Fiat Mefistofele 21706 C.C model is a detailed homage to the record-setting car of the 1920s. This kit gives modellers a chance to re-create the long, low profile and the distinctive engine bay of a vehicle that pushed period engineering to its limits.

Record-breaking provenance and scale accuracy

Driven by Ernest Eldridge in July 1924, the Mefistofele hit 146.01 mph (over 230 km/h) to claim a land speed record. The original used a massive aircraft-sourced inline six with displacement over 20,000 cm3. The kit reproduces the engine bulk and unique body silhouette to reflect that historic performance.

Assembly detail and showcase potential

With more than 500 pieces, this kit provides an absorbing build process for experienced hobbyists. It features a working steering system and an opening bonnet to display the engine. The completed model measures about 45 cm long and includes decals, clear parts and the small hardware needed to assemble an accurate display piece.

Some parts can be test-fit without glue, but the kit is intended for permanent assembly with glue and screws to ensure stability for display.
