The Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf.B served mainly as a training and light reconnaissance vehicle during its early service life, produced under constraints from the interwar period. Italeri's 1/35 rendition captures the vehicle's compact layout and its operational use in early campaigns including the Spanish Civil War and the invasions of Poland and France. While its combat role diminished due to light armor and limited weaponry, the Ausf.B did benefit from mechanical upgrades over earlier versions.

This box set includes a single crew figure, detailed photo-etched fittings, and link-and-length track sections to assemble authentic running gear. Four decal schemes are supplied so modelers can represent different wartime markings.
