This 1:35 plastic kit recreates the Italian B1 Centauro 8x8 wheeled tank destroyer with emphasis on exterior fidelity and the vehicle's running gear, suitable for intermediate to advanced modellers.
Developed in Italy, the Centauro was built as an agile, eight-wheeled armoured vehicle fitted with a large-calibre gun. Production began in 1989, and the design saw operational deployment with United Nations forces in Somalia during the early 1990s; export customers later included Spain and Egypt.
The kit presents a high part count to reproduce the hull, turret and suspension. The completed model measures 242.5mm long, and the box includes copper wire for delicate external detailing plus decals showing national markings.
