Replacement front mount for scale Jaguar bodies

The Kyosho MZN239-2 front body mount is a straightforward replacement part for the JAGUAR XJR-14 Mini-Z body when mounted on the Mini-Z MR-04 platform. It secures the front portion of the polycarbonate body to the MR-04 chassis, maintaining the intended mounting geometry and alignment under normal use.

Designed for durability, this mount helps recover correct body position after damage or wear without modifying chassis dimensions. It is useful for preserving consistent body gaps and for re-establishing mounting reference points that matter for setup repeatability.

Installation notes: lift the body from the chassis and inspect fasteners and clips, move over any reusable hardware, and trial-fit before final tightening to avoid misalignment. Small clearance trimming around paint or reinforcement tabs may be necessary but keep alterations minimal to retain factory mounting locations.

Keep original mounting pieces where they remain serviceable and double-check seating after several laps to ensure secure attachment and unchanged handling response.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The part is made to endure normal club and practice sessions; it restores the original mounting points so repeated use does not progressively distort body fit when installed correctly.
Reinforcement is possible but not usually necessary; if you choose to add tape or small brackets, do so without shifting the factory attachment points to keep fit and alignment accurate.
Thick paint or added reinforcements can require minor trimming around the mount area; test-fit after any bodywork to confirm clearance before final assembly.
Look for looseness, cracked material, or inconsistent body gaps; visible deformation or movement under load indicates it is time to replace the mount.
