Kawasaki Z1300 Inline Six Engine Captured in 1/6 Scale

First released in 1979, the Kawasaki Z1300 featured a 1,286cc liquid-cooled inline six DOHC engine noted for its balance and performance, producing about 120hp and capable of around 220 km/h with a 0-400m run near 12 seconds. Tamiya 16023 recreates this iconic unit at 1/6 scale to let modellers explore its construction and styling.

What the Kit Includes

The model recreates authentic engine elements including the radiator, air cleaner and drive shaft, and gives attention to both tiny fasteners and larger pieces like the cylinder head cover and triple carburetors. Components arrive mostly in black plastic combined with chrome and matte plated parts for realism, plus a mesh stone guard and a synthetic rubber shaft boot. The finished assembly is made to be shown on the supplied stand with a specification sticker.

Really pleased with models ,and even more pleased with the efficient delivery (4 days) EXCELLENT THANK YOU.
The kit focuses on realistic engine detail at 1/6 scale, including external items like the radiator and triple carbs as well as finer fasteners for a convincing replica.
Assembly involves many small parts and careful finishing, so it is better suited to modellers with some kit experience rather than absolute beginners.
Yes, the completed engine mounts to the included stand for display, though many builders choose to add paint and fine detailing to personalise the finish.
