Fine Balance Insert for KC10

The Kyosho CLW004 counterweight ships as a set of two weight pieces made to be used with the KC10 chassis. It serves as a balance tuning aid on 1/10 electric touring cars, allowing measured changes to axle loading that influence turn-in, mid-corner balance and traction without touching suspension geometry.

These weights fit only in KC10-specified ballast locations and use the chassis' existing mounting points. Fitting is straightforward: locate the KC10 mounting position, secure the counterweight with the original fasteners and keep factory alignment intact. No alterations to the motor, ESC or gearbox are required.

During setup the CLW004 should be treated as a tuning element rather than a power upgrade. Try adding or removing the two pieces to change front-to-rear bias for different surfaces or driving styles, and validate handling responses before changing suspension or tyre choices.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Adjusting these inserts changes axle load distribution, which impacts turn-in behavior, mid-corner balance and traction across different track surfaces.
Use the CLW004 to establish initial balance. Only consider suspension or tyre adjustments if handling tests indicate additional correction is needed.
