Refer to your transmitter guide for binding mode steps. Typically you power the receiver in bind mode then initiate bind from the transmitter while keeping them close together.
Route antennae away from metal parts and batteries, keep them at right angles where possible, and secure them so movement does not change orientation during runs.
The 4-channel layout supports standard mixes handled by your transmitter. If you need more functions consider using a separate module or an expanded receiver with additional channels.
Use a stable BEC or receiver battery with correct voltage for your servos. Avoid running long thin leads that can drop voltage under load.
