Details and Use for KPGC10 Covers

The Kyosho FAB606-01 clear light cover kit is an RC-scale accessory made to suit KPGC10-style on-road bodies, providing replacement headlight lenses for cosmetic and repair tasks. The components are shaped to follow the headlight openings on scale shells and work with the standard body prep methods common in model car work.

Fitment: these covers are intended for KPGC10-design shells only and align with the existing headlight apertures. Installation normally involves a dry test-fit, careful trimming of the shell lip where needed, and bonding the cover in place with suitable hobby adhesives or using the shell’s original retention features.

Tuning and detailing role: use the clear covers to reproduce the factory headlight look or to form a basic enclosure for LED elements when adding scale illumination. They let you mask and paint adjacent areas precisely without changing the shell silhouette, and they ease localized fixes after impacts or paint stripping.

Fit this set when you need to refresh the headlight area on a KPGC10 shell or when preparing a tidy lighting upgrade, following established on-road body care techniques.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Start with a dry test-fit to confirm location, mark any obstruction, trim only the material that prevents seating, then attach with an adhesive suited to polycarbonate or by using existing fastenings.
Some shells may require small clearances trimmed from the opening for a flush fit; remove material incrementally and check alignment frequently to avoid over-cutting.
Plan for adequate clearance and cable routing, secure LEDs to a backing or holder inside the shell, and consider heat output and reflector placement before final bonding.
