The K&S KS4972 receiver protection wrap provides RC-scale isolation to minimise vibration reaching the receiver and nearby electronics. Its gold foam layer absorbs shocks and helps stabilise signal-sensitive components in both electric and nitro RC models.

Because the wrap is a general-fit accessory rather than model specific, it works well in tight bays, receiver pods, and compact chassis areas. The foam can be trimmed or folded to match different receiver footprints without permanent chassis modification.

Fitting is simple: insert the receiver into the foam sleeve, place the assembly in the chosen compartment, and secure with light adhesive pads, hook-and-loop tape, or a small tie to stop unwanted movement. The wrap acts as a passive tuning aid by reducing mechanical vibration that would otherwise affect radio reception during suspension travel.
