The Kyosho TF7 takes the touring car concept forward with targeted chassis changes that help drivers extract more grip and stability. As an evolution of the TF6 SP, it brings deliberate improvements to handling under power.
The TF7 emphasises symmetrical component layout to keep chassis roll consistent through fast corners. Bulkhead and motor mount screws are secured to the main chassis, while the battery and servo have floating mounts to lessen their influence on handling balance.
With a main chassis reduced to 2.25mm and a single-piece upper plate, the TF7 improves rigidity and mechanical contact patch performance. The rear gear diff uses resin bevel gears to reduce rotating mass and sharpen throttle response.
Shorter shock absorbers and suspension arms refine turn-in feel on high traction track surfaces, and the adjustable suspension holders enable detailed setup work. The redesigned 2-belt 4WD uses a larger pulley and an aluminium motor mount to reduce belt wear and drivetrain stress.
The TF7 is a tunable choice for experienced builders who want a stable, adjustable chassis that performs well across a range of track conditions.
