The Kyosho 30048 - LAZER ZX7 takes the ZX series forward with tweaks aimed at modern high-traction circuits. It keeps the smooth control of the ZX-6 while narrowing the main chassis to increase rigidity and reduce overall mass for improved handling on carpet and turf.

Chassis Layout and Materials

Featuring a centre midship motor and centre shaft 4WD drive, the ZX7 balances power delivery across the car. The main chassis uses A7075-T6 grade Duralumin for an optimal strength to weight ratio, while the upper deckless format and side stiffeners allow precise flex management for setup changes.

Suspension Geometry and Steering Response

Independent double wishbone suspension with turnbuckle upper arms enables fine tuning of roll and camber. Short gullwing front arms and wide aluminium holders improve tyre contact, while adjustable caster and aluminium steering arms give consistent, predictable steering feedback.

Streamlined Body and Wing Design
