Meet the Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5: ready for competition

The Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 Sports RTR represents a race-focused 1/8-scale buggy built for control and endurance. It balances raw nitro performance with chassis stability so you can push through rough laps with confidence.

Engine and power delivery

The drivetrain centres on the Kyosho GX21 engine, offering reliable nitro performance with a convenient pull-start and slide valve carburettor. The supplied tuned pipe and header optimise exhaust flow to help maintain strong midrange and top-end power.

Stiff chassis and robust driveline

A 3mm aluminium main chassis and aluminium upper deck give the MP 7.5 the stiffness needed for accurate handling. The shaft-driven 4WD system provides consistent traction, while the planetary differential and ring-and-pinion setup sharpen corner exits.

Handling, shocks and steering

Independent double wishbone suspension front and rear works well over bumps and jumps, and the oil-filled blue aluminium shocks are adjustable to match track grip. The bell-crank steering with a servo saver helps protect the servo from heavy impacts.

Out of the box performance

Arriving as a ReadySet, the MP 7.5 is pre-assembled and painted with 10-spoke wheels and medium rubber tyres fitted. A high-torque steering servo and a 2-channel AM pistol grip radio are included so you can focus on setup and practice.

Routine maintenance requires standard RC tools: hex drivers, spanner set, shock tools and a glow driver. Keeping the air filter and clutch area clean is important for reliable running.
Adjust shock oil viscosity, spring preload and mounting positions to alter ride height and damping. Start with small changes and test between runs to dial in balance for your track.
