Long popular among 1/8 touring car builders and drivers, the Inferno GT series balances scale appearance with durable race components. The GT2 refresh refines that formula with chassis updates and proportion changes aimed at better on-track manners. It uses core elements from the Inferno MP7.5 buggy platform while stretching the wheelbase to achieve more authentic scale lines and steadier directional control.
The unit is fitted with the GXR28SG engine, a dependable choice for ample midrange and top-end response. The layout combines this motor with a well-engineered chassis platform to give predictable handling. You will also find dual disc brakes, precision turnbuckle upper arms and tie rods for setup changes, and blue anodised wheel hubs and shock caps for a smart factory appearance.
Compared with the earlier GT model, the GT2 adds several practical upgrades. The wheelbase has been increased by 35mm to boost stability at speed. A redesigned 2-speed transmission helps reach higher top speeds, the fuel tank capacity is raised to 150cc for longer runs, and the smaller 34mm flywheel delivers snappier throttle response. Front and rear torque rods further refine balance.
This Kyosho Inferno GT2 is supplied as a Readyset, arriving mostly assembled with a pre-painted McLaren F1 GTR body and decals applied. Included items are a PERFEX KT6 transmitter, a glow plug heater and a fuel bottle. Transmitter batteries and the heater battery are not included with the package.
Whether you are tuning for lap time or collecting accurate scale models, the Kyosho Inferno GT2 offers a solid platform with a strong engine and practical Readyset extras.
