This factory-prepared MINI-Z RWD MR-04 readyset is supplied with the MR-04 two-wheel-drive chassis and a meticulously painted McLaren P1 GTR body. It targets collectors and indoor drivers who value a compact, tunable model that is also attractive for display.

The McLaren P1 GTR bodywork represents the track-focused variant of the P1, designed for closed-course demonstration with increased aerodynamic focus and performance orientation compared with the road model. This edition is a limited, non-road-legal form intended for circuit exhibition and similar events.

Included with the readyset are the assembled MR-04 chassis, the painted McLaren P1 GTR shell with decals, and the Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter. The MR-04 refines the MR-03 architecture by lowering the center of gravity, updating the front knuckles to include integrated kingpins to reduce scrub, and harmonizing bearing sizes front and rear to reduce rotational resistance. The chassis uses a geared differential to aid cornering feel while the rear pod features a T-bar plate with a coil spring damper; an oil-filled shock can be fitted separately. The standard readyset is powered by a 130-class brushed motor and requires AAA batteries for both chassis and transmitter. A wide array of MINI-Z optional parts are compatible for further tuning, and an optional gyro can be installed to assist control. Be aware that the separate LED light unit MZW429R is not compatible with the McLaren P1 GTR body included here.
