Inferno MP9 TKI4 Ten Year Edition Overview
The Inferno line from Kyosho has been a reference in 1/8 scale nitro off-road competition for over a decade. With a history that includes eight World Championship wins, the chassis is trusted by many competitive drivers. The MP9, which debuted in 2008, added to that record by winning the 12th World Championship in Thailand in 2010. To commemorate that success Kyosho released the Inferno MP9 TKI4 10th Anniversary Edition fitted with premium extras and optional parts valued at more than 30,000 Yen to enhance out of the box performance.
Upgrades That Matter on Loose and Hard Tracks
This special edition keeps the core TKI4 design while introducing useful refinements. The front receiver battery layout from TKI3 gives a more balanced front end. Reinforced front suspension arms sharpen surface tracing and corner entry. Longer universal shafts and tie rods together with reinforced ball ends strengthen the drivetrain under load.
The shaped clear body is designed for improved cornering and traction, while the twin-finned wing improves stability on landings. The Gurney flap increases rear end bite across different track conditions. Practical parts like the air cleaner holder and fuel filter holder are included to protect the engine and cut down on running issues.
