As a Readyset, the model arrives with the chassis assembled and the body ready with decals, reducing time to first run. The yellow pipe frame reinforces the sand buggy look and snap-on body panels let you reach electronics and the battery quickly.
Chassis Design and Serviceability
The built-in differential in the gearbox helps with smooth cornering and increased longevity thanks to larger gear modules. An FRP dust plate protects the gearbox from grit, and many previous Sand Master optional parts are compatible for those wanting to modify the chassis. The battery is accessed from the rear for quick swaps.
Suspension uses front and rear double-wishbones with adjustable ride height and pre-filled oil shocks to absorb rough ground. The G22 brushed 540 motor gives controllable torque, while the motor mount removes the need for fine backlash changes. A spring-backed steering servo saver protects the servo when you take a knock.
Control Electronics and Grip
The buggy is fitted with a 6kg waterproof steering servo for dependable steering feedback. The KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE KA040-71W 40A ESC supports NiMH and LiPo batteries and uses Super Plug (Deans) connectors to cut power loss. The tyres are dual-purpose to cope with both loose trails and smoother surfaces.
