Practical Bonding for RC Components

The Kyosho 36104 double sided tape gives a tidy, effective hold for everyday RC tasks. It is popular for attaching small items where screws or brackets are impractical.

Where to Use It

Ideal for securing receivers, ESCs, telemetry modules and small sensors inside the chassis. The adhesive resists vibration and helps prevent connections from shifting during runs.

Applying the Tape Correctly

Prepare surfaces by wiping with a dry cloth or alcohol pad. Trim the tape to fit, remove the backing, then press firmly and allow a short dwell time for the bond to set.

Is this tape waterproof enough for wet conditions?

The adhesive handles light moisture but is not a waterproof seal. For heavy wet use combine it with waterproofing methods or protect electronics in a sealed box.

Will it damage painted surfaces?

On most paints it will not cause noticeable damage, but test a hidden area first if the finish is delicate or old.

Can I use it for body mounting?

It can work for light body trims and accessories, but full body mounting under heavy use may need clips or posts for reliability.

Does temperature affect the adhesive?

Extreme heat can soften the bond and extreme cold can reduce tackiness. Store and use the tape within normal hobby temperature ranges for best results.
