Tuning notes for rear M3 tyres

This Kyosho 612239M3B rear tyre pair is made for 2.2" off-road buggy rims. The M3 tread and soft compound help increase traction on loose surfaces and are supplied as a rear axle pair without implying direct compatibility with any particular chassis model.

Installation hints: press each tyre onto a matching 2.2" rim using standard tyre adhesive, check that the bead seats correctly all the way round, and spin the wheel to confirm balance. Use an internal insert where required by your wheel design; inserts are not included unless the seller specifies them.

Tuning impact: selecting a softer rear tyre like this raises mechanical grip at lower speeds and in loose dirt, improving rear traction off the corner. Balance tyre softness with suspension damping and diff preload to achieve the handling you want, keeping in mind the softer compound will usually wear quicker.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are manufactured for standard 2.2" off-road buggy wheels; check rim profile and bead seat measurements to confirm suitability for your specific rims.
Apply glue to the bead, ease the tyre onto the rim evenly, and rotate the wheel while the glue sets to help seat the bead and reduce imbalance.
The set includes two rear tyres, supplied as a 2pcs pack for the rear axle.
A softer compound increases traction but can mask suspension issues; you may need to firm roll center and adjust diff settings to keep the rear predictable while accepting faster wear.
