If the seal is undamaged and fits tightly, you can reuse it, but for best life replace seals when bearings show wear. Clean and inspect seals before reinstallation.

Do these bearings need special grease?

Standard RC bearing lube or a light grease is fine. Use only a small amount to avoid trapping dirt which can accelerate wear.

How do I check if a bearing is worn?

Spin the wheel on its axle by hand and feel for roughness or binding. Any wobble or unusual noise usually means the bearing should be replaced.
