Premounted FD2 Tyres Paired with Watanabe 8-Spoke Rims

The Kyosho FATH710BKD arrives as two FD2 drift tyres already mounted on black 8-spoke Watanabe-style wheels, supplied as a 2pc set for 1/10 on-road drift applications. This setup removes the need for separate mounting so you can get running faster.

Installation is usually a simple swap: remove wheel nuts, fit the wheel to the hub, and secure using your vehicle's original fasteners. Confirm hex compatibility and wheel offset to ensure correct clearance and avoid interference with suspension links or the body shell.

These premounted FD2 tyres influence how quickly a car breaks traction and how controllable the slide is. Use them to explore changes to steering angle, ride height, and mass distribution. Routine checks such as wheel balancing and matching wear across the axle will preserve predictable handling.

To prolong life inspect tyres after sessions, clean contact surfaces with a suitable solvent if grip changes, and store the wheels in a cool, shaded area away from strong heat sources.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Lifespan depends on track surfaces and driving style. Expect quicker wear on abrasive surfaces; rotate and monitor tread to judge replacement timing.
The wheels are standard Watanabe-style rims with premounted tyres. Inspect the wheel for cracks after impacts and check tyre bond if you notice slippage.
Keep stored away from sunlight and high heat, and avoid contact with solvents that can dry the compound. A cool, dark place is best.
Look for excessive flattening, chunks missing, or major compound degradation. If grip becomes inconsistent, plan replacement.
