Rear lower mount - low setting

This aluminium rear lower suspension mount is designed as a replacement for the Kyosho FW05-R low-position lower mount. CNC style machining increases rigidity over the stock plastic piece, producing a firmer rear anchorage well suited to refined on-road tuning.

Fitment is limited to FW05-R designated chassis; confirm your chassis code prior to ordering. The component is structural and will influence the rear roll centre and arm loading characteristics when combined with your current hubs and arms.

Fitting is straightforward for competent modellers: remove the original lower mount, trial the aluminium part on the existing bosses, then fasten using your original hardware. After installation verify free suspension travel and check for any rubbing; perform a short test run then adjust ride height and toe as required.

In setup terms, an aluminium lower mount will reduce flex and sharpen rear reaction, changing mid-corner behaviour and initial steering feedback. Apply small setup changes and iterate until the chassis balance suits your driving style and front-end geometry.
