Simple Installation Notes

During installation of the Kyosho IFS004-1114 Shock Spring verify the spring seat and preload are set evenly and line up the shock with the IFW624 HD Rear Shock Stay. Proper seating prevents binding and preserves handling balance. Periodic checks of the shock assembly will extend service life.

Ride height depends on preload and shock length. The 95mm spring changes spring rate rather than fixed ride height, so adjust preload to set the ride height you want.

Oil choice depends on driving style and surface. Start with your usual rear shock weight and fine tune rebound and compression; stiffer springs often pair with slightly heavier oil.
