If you run the Kyosho INFERNO MP9 family, the Kyosho IFW416 6.8mm Hard Ball is a compact upgrade that reinforces the steering knuckle connection. Made for the knuckle side of the steering rod, these balls are built to take impacts and help keep linkages secured in crashes.

Compatibility Notes

The IFW416 is produced to suit INFERNO MP9 fitment so you get snug seating and consistent steering action. This is a practical choice for racers and club drivers who want durable parts without modifying the chassis.

Will these work with aftermarket steering arms?

They are sized for the MP9 steering geometry; some aftermarket arms may accept them but you should check bore size and offsets before fitting.

Do they change steering feel?

These hard balls provide a firmer connection point which can make steering feedback feel more direct, especially after repeated impacts that would otherwise deform softer parts.

Are any special tools needed to fit them?

Normal hobby tools used for MP9 maintenance are sufficient. Ensure correct pin fit and test steering movement before running the car.
