Durable carbon rear stay for MP11

The Kyosho IFW715 Carbon Rear Shock Stay is a carbon replacement part tailored to the MP11 chassis to support maintenance and tuning. Positioned at chassis level, it locates the rear shocks and contributes to rear geometry and local stiffness without changing factory mounting points.

Built from carbon fiber, the stay focuses on toughness and repeatable shock placement. In service it helps limit flex at the rear tower interface, so shock angle and preload adjustments behave more predictably across runs. Replace a worn or cracked plate with this stay when you need a stiffer rear mounting plane for consistent handling.

Installation notes and tuning role:

  • Installation: matches MP11 mounting points and is intended to work with the original screws and tower hardware; confirm clearances and thread engagement before final torque.
  • Tuning role: raises stiffness around the shock mount which can influence roll stiffness and transient response; combine this upgrade with shock oil and spring setup for best results.
  • Maintenance: after impacts inspect for delamination or chips and avoid excessive torque which can stress the carbon edges.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Carbon fiber is strong but can crack on hard impacts; the stay improves stiffness but you should inspect it after crashes for delamination or edge fractures.
If hardware is correctly torqued and not over-tightened, the risk is low; check threads and contact surfaces periodically to catch wear early.
Clean debris after running, inspect for chips or separation, and avoid solvent exposure that could weaken epoxies used in the laminate.
