Can I use the Kyosho IG157 on modified GT3 chassis variants?

If the chassis retains factory rear mounting points the IG157 should fit, but heavily modified or custom chassis may need checks for alignment before fitting.

Will the gunmetal finish chip with off-road use?

The finish is durable for normal on-track use, but repeated impacts or abrasions can mark it. Treat track knocks as part of maintenance and inspect for any deformation.

Is any shim or spacer needed when fitting shocks?

Most users fit the IG157 without extra spacers. If you run non-standard shock bodies or different mounting hardware, check clearances and add thin shims as required.
