The Kyosho IGW056 - Lightweight PC Clutch Bell is engineered to suit the INFERNO GT2, using high quality polycarbonate to cut mass without sacrificing core strength. The reduced rotating weight helps the engine rev quicker, giving more immediate throttle feedback on track.

Why Go Lightweight

Fitting a low mass clutch bell such as the Kyosho IGW056 shortens response time from throttle input to wheelspin, which benefits acceleration out of corners and responsiveness during short bursts. It is a subtle but effective tuning choice for circuit use.

Compatibility and Fit

This part is made for the INFERNO GT2 platform and installs into the existing layout with no major changes. Hobbyists will find the swap quick and reversible, ideal for testing setups or replacing older components.

The Kyosho IGW056 does not alter gear ratios. It reduces rotating mass only, so you get faster engine spin without changing the gearbox ratio.
Basic hand tools such as a small socket or nut driver and a screwdriver are typically enough. Remove the old bell, check mating surfaces, and fit the IGW056 with the existing hardware.
Inspect the bell before and after race days and after any impact. Look for cracks, chips or wear around the bore and clutch contact area.
The lighter bell can make the engine feel livelier, but the engagement point is mainly set by springs and shoes. Fine tune those components to suit the IGW056.
