Stiffness and long-term performance for ZX7.5

This carbon front shock stay is an RC-scale replacement crafted for the LAZER ZX7.5 chassis. It functions as a stiff mounting plate for the front shocks, helping to stabilise the upper suspension and creating a more reliable platform for tuning shock placement and spring settings.

Made from carbon fiber, the stay delivers superior rigidity compared with stock plastic parts, translating to less fatigue over repeated runs. In practical terms it reduces flex in the shock tower area so the front suspension responds more consistently under cornering loads and during rapid weight shifts on 1/10 electric models.

Fitting is straightforward with common hobby tools; remove the original tower, reuse the factory fasteners, and ensure upper mount alignment before final torqueing. This component is intended to support setup accuracy and durability rather than to alter core suspension geometry.

Compatibility

Designed to fit LAZER ZX7.5 chassis patterns, suitable for 1/10 electric touring cars or buggies that use the same front tower bolt layout.

Use this stay when durability and consistent tower stiffness are priorities for prolonged tuning and track sessions.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Carbon resists permanent deformation better than typical plastics used for stock towers, so it maintains mounting alignment and stiffness over more runs. Care should still be taken to avoid impact damage.
Properly manufactured carbon stays resist delamination under normal racing and tuning use. Inspect periodically for chips or cracks after heavy impacts.
For aggressive driving you may pair the stay with careful mounting and correct torque settings; the carbon plate itself is aimed at improving stiffness rather than providing extra crash protection.
Regularly check fasteners and inspect for surface damage after impacts; tighten to spec and replace if any structural cracks appear.
