Kyosho LAW93GM is an aluminum front suspension holder D produced for the LAZER SB range, finished in gunmetal. It replaces the factory piece where needed and gives a firmer mounting reference for consistent front-end response.
Its mechanical role is to locate suspension arms and shock mounts, maintain alignment when the vehicle is loaded, and provide a repeatable datum for tuning work. Fit it to restore original geometry after an impact or to achieve tighter front compliance during setup sessions.
Installation follows common front-end service practice: remove the defective holder, ensure mating surfaces are clean, and move any stock bushings or inserts across if compatible. Start screws by hand to confirm thread engagement, then secure to the vehicle maker's torque recommendations if available. Verify travel and steering alignment after installation and begin testing at low speed.
From a setup angle, the stiffer aluminum holder limits unwanted flex ahead, helping to preserve camber and toe during braking and cornering. Use it alongside appropriate shock eyelet positions and arm shims to tune handling rather than masking issues with softer components.
Inspect the holder after impacts for cracks, deformed faces, or damaged threads. Keep fasteners clean and apply thread-lock on metal-to-metal joints when appropriate. If permanent deformation or thread damage is found, replace the holder to maintain correct suspension geometry.
