Unpainted Kyosho MBB08 Body

The Kyosho MBB08 is delivered as a clear polycarbonate body intended for Mini-Z buggy use, echoing the lines of the LAZER ZX6. The clear shell gives modellers a blank canvas for masking, layering paints, and detailed trimming to suit MB-010 chassis mounting patterns.

Geared toward enthusiasts refining Mini-Z buggy performance, the shell's shape and possible weight changes from painting or trimming can affect handling. Follow standard Mini-Z trimming guides and use paints suitable for clear RC plastics for best results.

Fitment advice: place the shell over MB-010 posts and inspect steering and suspension clearance at full travel before final cutting. Do a careful trial fit with current posts and fasteners, mark required cuts, and finish trims with fine sanding to avoid cracks.

Remark :

Lightly clean with isopropyl alcohol and, if required, scuff gently with fine abrasive to improve paint adhesion—always use paints made for polycarbonate bodies.
Paint adds a small amount of weight; heavy multi-layer finishes will have more effect on balance, so plan trims and paint thickness when tuning handling.
The shell is shaped for MB-010 mounting geometry; it may be adaptable to other Mini-Z layouts but will likely require additional trimming and repositioning of posts.
Trim with care and avoid sharp corners; smoothing edges and using gradual curves reduces stress points. Reinforce critical areas with thin polycarbonate tape if needed.
