This aluminium alloy battery holder is an aftermarket replacement designed for the Kyosho Mini Inferno chassis. Supplied as a 1 pr set including screws, it replaces the factory retainer to give a more secure mount for the battery during tuning or running.
Built as an RC-scale accessory, the retainer prioritises mounting stiffness and managing clearance rather than changing electronics. The alloy construction reduces local flex where the pack sits, helping to keep weight distribution consistent so suspension and drivetrain tweaks behave more predictably.
Installation uses the original mounting points and the supplied fasteners. Check battery polarity and cable routing before final torque, and tighten screws progressively to prevent misalignment. Verify fit with larger aftermarket battery sizes prior to permanent installation.
