Aftermarket aluminium sink for Mini Inferno ESCs

This aluminium heat sink is an aftermarket cooling component for the Kyosho Mini Inferno range, provided as a single unit. It is intended to be mounted on top of or beside a Mini Inferno speed controller to promote thermal transfer and limit prolonged temperature rise during multiple practice laps or race heats.

Hobby installation is straightforward: align the sink to the ESC flat surface or fin area, secure with the included screw into an available ESC mount or chassis anchor, and make sure it does not touch motor cables or any moving parts. This part is designed for model use only and not for road vehicles.

In tuning terms, adding a compact alloy sink can reduce temperature swings under intense throttle cycles, which helps preserve consistent motor timing and braking behaviour in hot conditions. Check ESC temps after fitting and adjust mounting or airflow to optimise results for your setup.

It targets the common Mini Inferno ESC footprint, but confirm screw position and clearance on your specific controller before fitting to avoid interference.
No modifications are required. Use the supplied fastener and a matching driver to secure the plate without altering the ESC casing.
Compare ESC temperature logs or feel the ESC after timed runs. Repeat sessions under similar conditions to confirm any cooling improvement.
