Fitting is simple for anyone familiar with small-scale chassis work: remove the shock caps, extract the factory springs and refit the selected rate, observing correct spring orientation. No exotic tools are needed; standard shock service tools will handle the job and the springs are intended for coil-over type RC shocks used on the Mini Inferno platform.
For tuning, move in small steps: softer springs increase compliance and traction on rough terrain, while stiffer springs limit roll and give crisper weight transfer on smooth circuits. Combine different rates front to rear to balance understeer or oversteer and verify each change with measured test runs.
