Aluminium steering saver for Mini Inferno chassis

This aluminium steering saver replaces the standard plastic stop on Kyosho Mini Inferno and Mini Inferno ST frames, offering a compact metal mounting with a ball bearing interface to lower friction and minimise lash in the steering linkage. The blue anodised coating adds scratch resistance and a tidy finish.

Compatibility is limited to the Kyosho Mini Inferno line; confirm the unit clears your current servo horn and tie rods prior to install. This is an aftermarket scale part intended only for model use and sized for the Mini Inferno steering geometry.

Fitting is simple for those with basic maintenance skills: remove the servo horn and linkage where required, swap in the aluminium saver, then set the bearing preload so it turns freely but without unwanted movement. Use the recommended screws and avoid over-tightening which can bind the bearing.

As a tuning item the saver sharpens steering feedback and cuts free play without altering servo or linkage layout. It also helps absorb direct contact loads by creating a defined contact point while the bearing maintains smooth rotation. Regular checks and light bearing-safe lubrication will prolong service life.

No permanent modifications should be necessary on standard Mini Inferno or ST setups; just verify clearance and use the correct hardware when refitting the servo horn.
Often the original screws work, but check length and thread engagement. Replace with suitable RC-grade fasteners if original hardware shows wear.
Inspect the bearing and mounting at each club meet or after off-road sessions; clean and lightly oil as needed, especially if exposed to dust or moisture.
