The MZJ338/2 damper set is an RC-scale upgrade for KYOSHO MINI-Z 4X4 cars wearing SUZUKI JIMNY shells. It includes four 38mm dampers CNC-style machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, designed as drop-in metal replacements for the model's front or rear suspension points.
These dampers help cut friction and soak up impacts to keep the chassis tracking cleanly. Each damper uses the supplied springs: the silver spring matches the original wire diameter and the black springs are spare options to vary spring rate. Spring preload is adjusted at the top retainer so you can tune ride feel quickly without stripping the unit.
Installation follows standard Mini-Z procedures: remove the original dampers, locate the aluminium units into the same mounts, fit springs and secure with the provided round head screws. This part set is made for RC use on compatible MINI-Z 4X4 SUZUKI JIMNY layouts only.
