Transform the handling of a MINI-Z 4x4 by fitting the Kyosho MXW009 Belt Crawler Unit. It swaps out standard tyres for a rugged tracked solution made from high-precision moulded shoes that are secured by stainless steel pins to minimise stretch and keep the track running true.

Designed for Rough Tracks and Obstacles

The MXW009 handles mixed terrain and big obstacles thanks to a swinging mechanism that adapts to irregular surfaces. A soft gripping plate plus pointed spike elements add bite for improved hold on rock, dirt and mixed grounds.

Mechanical Advantage for Better Climbing

With a sprocket diameter of 24mm compared with typical tyre diameters of 37/42mm, the MXW009 effectively lowers the gear ratio to prioritise torque for climbing steep and uneven lines.

Will this unit work on every MINI-Z 4x4 body?

The MXW009 fits the MINI-Z 4x4 platform, but certain bodies may need light trimming. For example, Jimny shells can require minor clearance work around interfering components.

Can I use MXW005 hubs with the MXW009?

No. MXW005 metal front hubs are not compatible with the MXW009. Use the MXW008 die-cast front hub axle case for correct fitment.

What terrain suits the belt crawler best?

The tracked unit excels on rocks, steep inclines and loose surfaces where lower gearing and increased contact area help control speed and traction for technical runs.
