Front Body Mount Kyosho MZN199-2 for Mini-Z Camaro ZL1

The Kyosho MZN199-2 front body mount is built to keep the Mini-Z Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 shell stable during runs. It replaces fatigued or damaged mounts and restores secure body fitment so the shell stays aligned under load.

Model Compatibility

Designed around the Mini-Z MR-03 RWD chassis, this mount provides the correct spacing and retention for the Camaro ZL1 body. Its shape helps retain the model's lines while keeping the shell secure through cornering and light impacts.

How to Install

Fitment requires basic RC maintenance skills. Line up the mount with the body posts, press into place and fasten with suitable screws. Avoid overtightening and check clearance before running.

Lubrication is not necessary for the mount itself. Keep mounting posts clean and free of debris to ensure a tight fit and prevent rubbing that could wear the plastic.

Any tips for preventing shell rattles?

Check the fit after installing and use small foam pads or shims if there is play. Even spacing and gentle tightening will reduce vibration and rattling at speed.
